It's a recipe Catherine and Hamish have served up regularly over the past 20 years - both at Alimento cafe and Hereford Kitchen Catering.
There is nothing more satisfying than serving great food to wonderful people.
The couple first set up Alimento in 2002, then later went on to concentrate their efforts on their catering company Hereford Kitchen, before going on to open Oscar & Otto on Tauranga's Strand in 2019.
Catherne and Hamish enjoy looking after everyone who walks through their doors, making them feel welcomed & relaxed. ''That is the reason why we are here.''
Otto is a light bright modern eatery, Scandinavian in design and that is reflected in the fresh food it delivers. Linked by sliding barn doors - next door is the neighbouring Oscar space. Cafe overflow space by day - ideal for large groups, or those just seeking a quiet corner, Oscar 's dark moody interior and bar setup makes it also perfect for evening functions.
Along with a compelling menu, Otto offers a great range of cabinet food, perfect for those wanting to grab something on the go, while the kitchen is also the heart of the busy catering operations.
